This morning started foggy and and gray. The fog on the river did not turn into a painters dream as I had originally hoped but the light held steady all morning.

In the afternoon a helpful kayaker gave me directions to below the Vermillion River falls.

Too wet to paint here today!

Today Bob Matheson introduced me to Nine Mile Creek. What a great place to paint and easily accessed. Lots of painting locations and subjects. Bob, Bob Bonawitz and I made a short hike to this pool and spillway. Bob and Bob, two very fine artists and companions, are seen below mixing green paint :-)

It was a hot day in Jordan for the OPM paintout.
